The Arapaho Charter High School Student of the Week is Alijah Lujan, nominated by Darci Holbert! Alijah, the son of Aaron Lujan and the grandson of Janice Lujan, is a 9th grade student at ACHS. He has quickly cemented his place among the student body through his active presence in school. He serves as the Warrior Council Vice President and participates on the Boo’eihiiho’ (Warriors) basketball team. He is also active in the district’s Food Distribution program and a ready participant in any and all school activities. “Alijah is a great addition to ACHS. He is a kind and caring individual” writes his nominating teacher. “Alijah takes the time to ask how people are doing and to thank people for even the little things. He puts a lot of effort into his classes and makes sure to get his work completed.” He currently sports a 3.58 GPA as evidence of that.
When he’s not in school Alijah loves to engage in his passion – skateboarding. He has won numerous competition awards on his board and loves to compete whenever he can. He also enjoys spending time with his loved ones and playing the video game Spider Man 2 when he has time. After he graduates from high school, Alijah hopes to pursue a career as a professional skateboarder. ACHS is proud to name him as our Student of the Week!
Aaron Lujan and Grandmother Janice Lujan are the proud parents of Alijah.
